Payments & Purchases
Cubestream makes it simple to rent or purchase independent films. Here's how payments work on the platform.
Payment Methods
Cubestream supports two payment methods depending on the title's price:
PayPal
Used for titles priced at $4.50 and under. Pay securely with your PayPal account or linked cards.
PayCloud
Used for titles priced over $4.50. Supports credit/debit cards and additional payment options.
Pricing
- Minimum price: $0.99 per title
- Price display: The price is shown on each movie's detail page
- Filmmakers set pricing: Each filmmaker chooses their own price
Purchase Flow
Find a Film
Browse or search for a title you want to watch.
Click the Payment Button
On the movie page, click the PayPal or PayCloud button to begin checkout.
Complete Payment
Follow the payment provider's flow to authorize the transaction.
Start Watching
Once payment is confirmed, the film is available to watch immediately.
Purchase History
Access your purchased films anytime through the hamburger menu in the header. Click the three-line icon and select Purchases to see all titles you've rented or bought.
Guest Purchases
You can purchase films without creating an account. A unique access link will be provided after purchase. Save this link — you'll need it to access your content if you close your browser. You can also provide your email to have the link sent to you.
