Troubleshooting

Having issues? Here are solutions to common problems on Cubestream.

Video Playback Issues

  • Buffering or slow loading — Check your internet connection. Try lowering the video quality in the player settings. A minimum of 5 Mbps is recommended for smooth playback.
  • Video won't play — Make sure you're using a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge). Try clearing your browser cache and refreshing the page.
  • Quality issues — The player automatically adjusts quality based on your connection. You can manually select a quality level using the settings icon in the player.
  • Audio out of sync — Try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, try a different browser.

Account Issues

  • Forgot password — Use the password recovery page to reset your password via email.
  • Email verification — Check your spam/junk folder for the verification email. If you need a new one, try signing in and click the "Resend verification email" link.
  • Can't sign in — Double-check your email and password. If you signed up with Google, use the Google sign-in button instead of email/password.
  • Session expired — For security, sessions expire after inactivity. Simply sign in again when prompted.

Payment Issues

  • Payment failed — Verify your payment method has sufficient funds. For PayPal issues, check your PayPal account status. For PayCloud, verify your card details.
  • Charged but no access — Refresh the page and check your Purchases (hamburger menu → Purchases). If the film doesn't appear, contact support with your transaction details.
  • Wrong amount charged — Prices are set by filmmakers and displayed on the movie page before purchase. Contact support if you believe there was an error.

Upload Issues

  • Upload fails — Check your file size and format. Common supported formats include MP4, MOV, and AVI. Ensure your internet connection is stable during upload.
  • Conversion pending — After upload, videos are transcoded for streaming. This can take some time depending on the file size. Check back on your channel page for status updates.
  • Artwork not displaying — Ensure poster images are in JPG or PNG format. Try re-uploading the image if it doesn't appear.
